Overall Cost
Month-on-Month cost comparison
This report shows the month-on-month cost trend for the last 12 months in comparison with the previous year's 12 months with an additional indication of to increase or decrease in cost for each month in comparison with the previous year's month.
It is represented using a Time combo chart involving four components- Previous Period, Current Period, Increase and Decrease.
Previous Period
It is the overall cost for each month
from the last 24 months to the last 13 months. For example, if the current month is March 2022, then the previous period would be from March 2020 to February 2021.
Current Period
It is the overall cost trend for the last 12 months. For example, if the current month is March 2022, then the current period would be from March 2021 to February 2022.

If there is no data for the current year, then the trend for the previous year is plotted.
Increase
Indicates the overall cost for a month is higher than the previous year's same month.
Decrease
Indicates the overall cost for a month is lesser than the previous year's same month.
Cost By Family
Sum of total overall cost grouped by root assets product family.
Cost By Model
Sum of total overall cost grouped by root assets product.
Cost By Asset Age
It represents the total overall cost by asset age
where age is the difference between the Work Order created date and the Asset's installation date.
Cost by Work Order Type
Sums the total overall cost for each purpose of the visit on the work orders.
Cost By Entitlement
It is a donut chart segmented by Billing type (field labeled as Entitlement).
Cost By Country
Sums total overall cost by root asset's country and distribution on the world map.

Instead of selecting Overall cost (default selection), if you choose Expense, Labor, Parts, or Travel, then all the above charts show the total cost information for the selected line type. For example, when Parts is selected, charts show the cost trend for spare parts (Parts line type). When Travel is selected, then charts show the total cost trend for the Travel line type.

Expense Cost
Month-on-Month cost comparison
This report shows the sum of the Total Cost of all work orders with line type as Expense, on a month-on-month basis. It is represented using a Time combo chart involving three components: Total expense, Increase, and Decrease, ordered in the ascending order of the closed date.
Total Expense
It shows the total expense for each month for a time period of the last 12 months to the last month.
Increase
It indicates an increase in expense cost for a month in comparison with the previous month. For example, for the month of March 2022, a comparison is done with February 2022.
Decrease
It indicates a decrease in expense cost for a month in comparison with the previous month. For example, for the month of March 2022, a comparison is done with the month of February 2022. A decrease indicates expense in the month of March is less than in February.
Cost
Sum total cost for Expense related work orders.
Overall %
Displays how much is expense cost % in total overall cost.
Cost/Asset
Expense cost per asset. It is the Sum of total expense cost by the total number of assets.
Year to Date
Expense cost per asset. It is the Sum of total expense cost by the total number of assets and the closed date is within the start date of the current year till the current date.
LYTD
The sum of the total cost for work orders of line type 'Expense' where the closed date is within the last 12 months from the current date.
YTD
The sum of the total cost for work orders of line type 'Expense' and closed date is within the start date of the current year till the current date.
Labor Cost
Month-on-Month cost comparison
This report shows the sum of the Total Cost of all work orders with line type as Labor, on a month-on-month basis. It is represented using a Time combo chart involving three components: Total expense, Increase and Decrease. Ordered in the ascending order of the closed date.
Total Labor
It shows the total labor for each month for a time period of the last 12 months to the last month.
Increase
It indicates an increase in labor cost for a month in comparison with the previous month. For example, for the month of March 2022, a comparison is done with February 2022.
Decrease
​It indicates a decrease in labor costs for a month in comparison with the previous month. For example, for the month of March 2022, a comparison is done with the month of February 2022. A decrease indicates labor in the month of March is less than in February.
Cost
The sum total cost for Labor-related work orders.
Overall %
Displays how much labor costs % are in total overall cost.
Cost/Asset
Labor cost per asset. It is the Sum of total labor cost by the total number of assets.

Labor cost per asset. It is the sum of the total labor cost by the total number of assets and the closed date is within the start date of the current year till the current date.

Parts Cost

Overall %
Displays how much parts costs % are in total overall cost.
