Generating a model family report (Model Explorer)
You can generate model family reports through Model Explorer and Modeler.
A model family report reports on all model versions that have been created for the Model. If you want to report on only those model versions that have been created in a branch, click here Generating a model branch report
To generate a model family report (through Model Explorer):
1. Start Model Explorer.

2. Locate the model for which you want to generate the model family report:
a. Expand the SQL icon.
b. Expand the Server that owns the Model for which you want to generate a family report.
If the Server that owns the Model is not shown, add the Server to Model Explorer.

c. Expand the Database that owns the Model for which you want to generate a family report.
If the Database that owns the Model is not shown, show the server's databases and then optionally bookmark the Database.
3. Right-click the model for which you want to generate the model family report, point to Report, and then click Model Family.
4. If you want to save the report, click the
Save As button, and specify the name and location of the file.
5. Click OK.
To generate a model family report (through Modeler):
1. In Modeler, open the model from which you want to generate a model family report.
2. On the Manage tab, click Report on Model Family icon.
The report is generated to the Output pane in Modeler.
