Service parameter (UPDM - NAF aliases)
Creation
To create a Service Parameter:
From a Service Function or Service Operation: right-click the element, point to New, point to NAF, and then click Service Parameter.
On the Select Type dialog, create or select the element that is the type of the Service Parameter, or create an untyped Service Parameter.
The type of a Service Parameter can be a Capability Configuration, Energy, Exchange Element, Geo Political Extent Type, Logical Architecture, Materiel, Node, Organization, Physical Architecture, Post, Resource Artifact, Responsibility, Security Domain, Service Access or Software element.
A Service Parameter can be represented by a Service Input Pin or Service Input Pin on an NOV-5 Operational Activity Model. You can create a Service Parameter when creating a Service Input Pin or Service Output Pin.
Appearance
A Service Parameter does not appear on any diagrams.
