Internal data model (UPDM - DoDAF aliases)
Creation
To create an Internal Data Model:
From the model or a UML Package: right-click the Package, point to New, point to DoDAF, point to System, and then click Internal Data Model.
From an Architectural Description or Service Description: right-click the Architectural Description or Service Description, point to New, point to DoDAF, point to System, and then click Internal Data Model.
From a DIV-3 Physical Data Model: click the Internal Data Model toolbar button, and then click in free space on the diagram.

When shown on a DIV-3 Physical Data Model, an Internal Data Model appears as follows:
