To Create an Item List
1. To define the way callouts are created for multiple instances of an item, select one of these options on the Item List ribbon:
Combine for Same Item
Draw One for Same Item
For more information about these options, see To Insert Callouts.
2. To draw a callout even when the item is obscured, toggle on Draw When Hidden. To draw callouts only for visible parts, toggle the button off.
3. Select the type of list to create:
Automatic—Continue to step 4.
Manual—Skip to step 5.
4. For an automatic list, select the items to include:
Type—Include parts, assemblies, or some or all of the hierarchy.
Selection—Make a list for the entire sBOM, or click Pick Assembly to select a reference assembly.
5. Next to Callouts, select the type of callout to display.
6. Change the default numbering of callouts. See To Adjust the Numbering of Callouts for more information.
