To Update Derived Parameter Values
To Set an Automatic or Manual Update
1. With a design open, click > . The Design Properties dialog box opens.
2. Select the Auto parameter update check box to automatically recalculate the value of a derived parameter whenever an object is instanced, moved, scaled, rotated, and so on.
Alternatively, clear the
Auto parameter update check box to recalculate the value when you click
Update Current Sheet or
Update All Sheets on the
Diagramming tab.
3. Click OK.
To Manually Update Derived Parameter Values
1. In an open design, click Diagramming and then click the arrow next to Update Labels.
2. To update labels and derived parameters on the current sheet, click
Diagramming, click the arrow next to
Labels and click
Update Current Sheet. All labels and derived parameters on the current sheet are updated.
3. To update labels and derived parameters on all sheets, click
Diagramming, click the arrow next to
Labels and click
Update All Sheets. All labels and derived parameters on all sheets in the design are updated.
Design Properties. The Design Properties dialog box opens.
