To Reset Obsolete Ports in a Connector
When you delete a port from a connector, it is not deleted from the database. After deleting ports, use the following procedure to reset the logical names of the remaining ports in the connector.
1. In an open design, click Data and then click the arrow next to Obsolete Ports.
2. Click
Reset All Ports.
3. To display the updated logical port names, generate a report of the ports whose logical names you reset. They are displayed in the Report Results dialog box.
