Instance names can contain parameters. Enclose the parameter name with angle brackets (< >). For example, a pipe artifact with a Bore parameter and a Spec parameter can have the P#<Bore><Spec> name format. Instances of this pipe with bore size 50 and a spec A2A are generated as P150A2A.

When you edit parameter values, the new values are refreshed in the name. If an edit results in two instances having the same name, a new serial number (#) is automatically assigned to the edited instance so that the name is unique.
