About the Warp Tool User Interface
The Warp tab consists of commands, tabs, and shortcut menus. Click > > to open the Warp tab.
Commands
• References
◦ Geometry collector—Collects bodies, including bodies that contain simplified or homogenized lattices, quilts, facets, or curves to warp.
◦ Direction collector—Collects a datum plane or coordinate system to define the direction of a warp.
• Tools
◦ Transform—Translates, rotates, or scales geometry.
◦ Warp—Shapes geometry by dragging edges and corners of a marquee.
◦ Spine—Shapes geometry by dragging control points on a curve.
◦ Stretch—Stretches the geometry along an axis.
◦ Bend—Bends the geometry along an axis.
◦ Twist—Twists the geometry along an axis.
◦ Sculpt—Sculpts the geometry using a mesh.
Tabs
Up to five tabs could appear on the Warp feature tab.
• References—Collects references.
• List—Lists each warp type within the current Warp feature.
• Options—Sets options specific to the selected warp type.
• Marquee—Sets the size and location of the marquee.
• Properties—Sets a name for a Warp feature and displays detailed component information in a browser.
Shortcut Menus
Right-click the graphics window to access shortcut menu commands.
