Using the Sheetmetal Preferences Dialog Box
Use the Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box to change sheet metal default preferences for parts and bodies. The Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box opens when you click change for a sheet metal preference in the Model Properties dialog box. Alternatively, you can select a body in the Model Tree, right-click and select Preferences.
At the left of the Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box is a list of the part and all bodies contained in the part. Bodies that are linked to the part are indicated by before the body name. A body that is linked to the part takes all its sheet metal preferences from the part.
To link a body’s preferences to the part preferences, select the body in the list and click Link to Part. To unlink a body’s preferences from the part preferences, select the body in the list and click Unlink from Part.
The tabs in the dialog box allow you to set preferences for the part, or an unlinked sheet metal body. The Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box contains the following tabs that allow you to set the part and body sheet metal preferences.
