To Change Miter Cut Settings
Use the Miter Cut page of the Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box to set default miter cut preferences.
1. Click > > 
Model Properties. The Model Properties dialog box opens.
Model Properties. The Model Properties dialog box opens.2. Under Sheetmetal, click change in the Miter Cuts line. The Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box opens to the Miter Cuts page.
 | Alternatively, you can select a body in the Model Tree, right-click and select  Preferences. The Sheetmetal Preferences dialog box opens to the General page. |
3. Select the part or a body from the list at the left. By default the part is selected.
4. To change the value for the miter cut offset, type a new value in the Offset box, or select 1.1 * Thickness.
5. To change the miter cut width, type a new value in the Width box, or select Gap to create the miter cut with a width equal to the value set for the SMT_GAP parameter.
6. Click OK.
