Connector, fixture, and terminal libraries
Creo Elements/Direct Cabling comes with a built-in library of connectors, fixtures, and terminals that you can place on your model to use in your harness assembly.
To run a connector, fixture, or terminal library,
1. Click Interface and then, in the Library group, click the arrow next to Call.
2. Click Call connector library, Call fixture library, or Call terminal library. The Cabling Electrical Library dialog box opens.
3. Select a part from the Cabling Electrical Library dialog box.

You cannot load an assembly.
You can also define your own Creo Elements/Direct Cabling part libraries by creating or editing a Catalog Configuration File (CCF). To learn more, explore the tutorial on this subject.
Creo Elements/Direct Modeling generates a parts library menu based on a CCF:
To set or change the CCF for connectors, fixtures, or terminals,
1. Click Interface and then, in the Library group, click the arrow next to Set.
2. Click Set current connector library, Set current fixture library, or Set current terminal library. The Select Current Library dialog box opens
3. Click Select File.
4. Find the definition file. A typical path to the part definitions files:
C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo Elements\Direct Modeling [version]\personality\cabling\library_parts [version]
5. Click OK.
6. Click to complete the operation.
