Animation overview
The Animation module allows you to create complex animations with relative ease, and to save the animation as an AVI file to share with others. You do not need to define relations to build an animation, but assembly relations can simplify the task.
You must have an Creo Elements/Direct Advanced Design license, and you may need to install an AVI codec if you want to export AVI files. This is software that encodes the AVI. You can download one free from Microsoft.
When creating photo-realistic animations with Creo Elements/Direct Rendering, your scenes should be set fixed so they don't move during the animation
To create a basic animation,
1. Define an animation.
2. Move objects in the viewport with the Position controls, which are integrated into the Define Animation dialog box.
3. Insert or modify a control position.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until your animation is complete.
5. Play an animation.
