PTC ALD Templates Generated from a Arbortext Styler Stylesheet
PTC ALD creates a huge number of tags when it builds a template from an Arbortext Styler stylesheet. These tags are organized into tag type groups to enable a search for a particular item.
When you have opened a saved PTC ALD document in PTC Arbortext Layout Developer— Desktop, as recommended in Creating a Template to Associate with a Stylesheet, browsing tags is the quickest way to find a tag. Use the tbrowse macro or the Document > Tags > Browse tags menu option. These opens the Browse Tags window, which displays a list of tags in the document organized in a tree structure. PTC Arbortext Layout Developer groups tags by type then by namespace as a default. You can reorganize the structure by namespace first by selecting the by namespace option in the List field.
