Description
The Connection Speed: Upload gadget displays the connection speed when documents are uploaded from the Windchill workspace. The connection speed is measured in Mbps.
With this gadget you can choose which speed to display when documents are uploaded:
Single value—Displays the slowest and fastest speed of upload for a session in the specified period.
User’s average—Displays the average slowest and fastest speed of upload for all the sessions of a user in the specified period.
You can configure the gadget to display the connection speed for upload for 1, 7, 14, 21, or 28 days.
The gadget displays the following connection speeds when documents are uploaded:
Slowest—For the Single value option, the gadget displays the slowest speed of upload in a session. The time and date when the speed was slowest is also displayed. When you click Slowest, the Sessions Page opens.
For the User’s average option, the gadget displays the slowest average speed of upload for one user. The time and date are not displayed. When you click Slowest, the Sessions tab in the User Page opens. In the User page, the period is set to the same period as specified in the Connection Speed: Upload gadget.
Average—For the Single value option, displays the average of upload speed for all the sessions.
The Performance Advisor also calculates the average slowest and fastest speed of upload for all users in the specified period. The User’s average option, displays the average of this value, that is, the average of the average of upload speeds of all the users.
Fastest—For the Single value option, displays the fastest speed of upload in a session. For the User’s average option, the gadget displays the fastest average speed of upload for one user.
