Connection Speed: Download
Description
This Connection Speed: Download gadget displays the connection speed when documents are downloaded to the Windchill workspace. The connection speed is measured in Mbps.
With this gadget you can choose which speed to display when documents are downloaded:
• Single value—Displays the slowest and fastest speed of download for a session in the specified period.
• User’s average—Displays the average slowest and fastest speed of download for all the sessions of a user in the specified period.
You can configure the gadget to display the connection speed for download for 1, 7, 14, 21, or 28 days.
The gadget displays the following connection speeds when documents are downloaded:
• Slowest—For the Single value option, the gadget displays the slowest speed of download in a session. When you click Slowest, the Sessions Page opens.
For the User’s average option, the gadget displays the slowest average speed of download for one user. When you click Slowest, the Sessions tab in the User Page opens. In the User page, the period is set to the same period as specified in the Connection Speed: Download gadget.
• Average—For the Single value option, displays the average of download speed for all the sessions.
The Performance Advisor also calculates the average slowest and fastest speed of download for all users in the specified period. The User’s average option, displays the average of this value, that is, the average of the average of download speeds of all the users.
• Fastest—For the Single value option, gadget displays the fastest speed of download in a session. For the User’s average option, it displays the fastest average speed of download for one user.
