2. Select a quilt to trim. An Options Toolbar opens. Expand the Options Toolbar to open a Floating Dashboard. The selected quilt appears in the Trim panel.

3. To select a trimming reference, select a plane, surface, or a curve. The selected entity appears in the Trim by panel. A directional arrow appears on the selection to indicate the trimming direction.

5. To retain the trimmed surface, select the Keep trimming surface check box. When you collapse the Options Toolbar, the Keep the trimming surface icon is activated. To toggle retaining or removing trimming surfaces, click this icon.
