To Create a Chamfer
1. Select the edges for which you want to create a chamfer. A Live Toolbar and a dragger with multiple handles appear along the selected edge.
2. On the Live Toolbar, click the arrow next to Chamfer and select a chamfer type. An Options Toolbar opens.
Alternatively, click the arrow next to Chamfer on the Home tab, and select a chamfer type.
3. Expand the Options Toolbar to open a Floating Dashboard.
4. In the References drawer, the number of selected edges appear in the collector. Click the arrow below the drawer to expand the collector and view the selected edges.
5. Select or clear the Chain check box depending on whether you want to propagate the chamfer to a chain of tangent edges.
6. The selected chamfer type appears in the Type drawer. If required, select an alternate chamfer type from the list.
If you have selected Angle X D, a circular dragger appears and a chamfer is created.
If required, type an alternate value for the distance.
To adjust the chamfer, type a value for the angle or pull the dragger to adjust the angle
If you have selected D1 X D2 or D X D, pull the linear dragger or specify two offset distance values in the respective text boxes.
If you have selected O X O, pull the linear dragger or type a value for the offset distance in the respective text box.
If you have selected O1 X O2, pull the linear dragger for the selected edge on one surface or type a value for the offset distance in the respective text box Repeat the same step for the selected edge on the other surface.
7. Middle-click to complete the operation.
