About Recognizing Rounds
The Rounds Recognition tool uses geometric criteria to recognize round surfaces. You can select any one of the commands to treat surfaces as rounds or not rounds.
When a surface is tagged as a round, it is removed and recreated during Creo Direct operations such as Move, Offset or Modify Analytic. If you do not want specific round geometry to be removed and recreated, you can tag it as not a round.
When you save the recognized geometry, a round is either recognized as a round or not unrecognized as round.
When recognizing and unrecognizing rounds, the geometry of the model is shown in different colors depending on how it is recognized:
— Geometry is already tagged as a round.
— Geometry is already tagged as not a round.
— Geometry that is recognized by the current round geometry.
