Project Properties
You view and modify Project properties in the Project Properties window. To open this window, do one of the following:
From the Project Navigator, click the Project name.
From an open and active file, select View > Project Properties.
From anywhere in the application, select File > Open, select Project as the file type, select the Project, and click Open.
When the Project is selected in the Project Properties pane on the left, some or all of the following panes are shown on the right:
The guidelines below indicate when these panes are shown.
The File Properties pane is always shown.
The Table Settings pane is shown only for the Project.
The Group Access Rights pane is never shown in the Team Edition because it does not support the concept of different user groups having various file permissions.
The File Inputs pane is shown only in the desktop application if Simplify file inputs has been cleared under General in the File Properties pane. By default, this checkbox is selected, which means that the File Inputs pane is not shown.
The Project Administrators pane is never shown in the Team Edition because this Edition does not support the concept of special administrative permissions for specified users.
The Windchill Change Object Mapping pane is never shown in the Team Edition because this Edition cannot be integrated with Windchill. This pane is shown for an Enterprise Project only if a Windchill connection is set up in the desktop version of the Administrator application. You must also have the Windchill integration license for quality-driven change management and enable at least one Windchill change object.
The Windchill Attribute Mapping pane is never shown in the Team Edition because this Edition cannot be integrated with Windchill. This pane is shown for an Enterprise Project only if a Windchill connection is set up in the desktop version of the Administrator application. You must also have two Windchill integration licenses, one for BOM-based quality analysis and validation and the other for CTQ (critical to quality) characteristic management. When one or more System files is created from a Windchill BOM (bill of materials), this pane is shown.
