Changing the Active Object in the Properties Window
You can view the properties for a diagram object by right-clicking the object and selecting the appropriate Properties command. When the Properties window for the object is open, you can use the navigation control at the top of the window to quickly change to a different object to view its properties instead.
For example, you can use the navigation control in the Label Visual Properties window to select any other label in the current diagram so that you can then view its visual properties. Likewise, in the Calculation Properties window for a fault tree gate or event, Markov state, or RBD block, you can use this same navigation control to select any other object in the current diagram to view its calculation properties.
When you use this control to select another object, if unsaved changes exist in the properties for the current object, a window opens for indicating whether you want to save these changes by default. Once you click
Yes or
No in response to this window, the properties are loaded for the newly selected object. For more information, see
Saving Property Changes. The following table lists the Properties windows that have the navigation control.
