Block Visual Properties
The visual properties for a block in a block diagram and a state in a Markov diagram are very similar.
A block’s Visual Properties window displays the visual properties assigned to a block in a block diagram. Blocks can be inserted in either the System file or an RBD Block Library file. For more information, see RBD Block Library Files.
A state’s Visual Properties window displays the visual properties assigned to a state in a Markov diagram in the System file.
The same Visual Properties window for the block or state also displays the properties assigned to the block style or state style in its respective Style Library file. For more information, see RBD Style Library Files or Markov Style Library Files.
To quickly open the visual properties for a block or state in a diagram, you right-click it and select Visual Properties. Or, you press and hold down Alt and double-click it.
To quickly open the visual properties for a style in a Style Library file, you select the style and then click Edit Style.
In the title bar of the Visual Properties window, the unique identifier for the active block or state is shown. Under Preview, a sample is shown based on currently specified properties. A blue square is the default Block style for the RBD module, and a yellow oval is the default State style for the Markov module.
The following topics describe the properties on the various pages in the Visual Properties windows for blocks and states:
