Inserting a Temperature Record
In the Project’s Prediction Cycling Profile file, the Temperatures pane provides for entering information about common temperature variations. You can insert table records in the Temperatures pane only if you Use common temperature variations is selected above this table or in the Cycling Profiles pane. When this checkbox is selected, the temperatures entered in these table records are used to calculate a weighted average, which is then used as the system temperature for all operating phases.
1. If the Prediction Cycling Profile file is not already open, then open it. While you open this file in the same way as any other file, you must have the IEC TR 62380 or RDF 2000 model licensed to open it.
2. In the Cycling Profiles pane, select the profile. For profile insertion information, see Inserting a Cycling Profile.
3. In the Temperatures pane, select Use common temperature variations.
4. For each temperature record to insert, do the following:
a. In the last table row, click < Click here to insert a new record >. A blank record is inserted in the Temperatures table.
b. Complete the options in the Temperatures table. For more information, see Temperatures Pane.
