Packaging Files for Email
To email Windchill Risk and Reliability files, you package them into a compressed ZIP file from the Project Properties window. You then attach this single ZIP file to an email message.

Files in Enterprise Projects must be copied to Team files before they can be packaged into a compressed ZIP file. Consequently, in the Enterprise Edition, the Package for Email command is available only if you have permission to copy Enterprise Projects to Team Projects.
1. If the Project is not open in the Project Properties window, then open it. For more information, see Opening a Project in the Project Properties Window.
2. In the Project Properties pane, select the heading for the Project.
3. Select Project > Package for Email. The Package for Email Wizard starts and displays the Select Files page. All files in the open Project are listed. The checkboxes for all of its files are selected by default.
4. Select the files to package. Because this page is displayed by many Wizards, information about it appears in Select Files Page.
5. When finished, click Next. The Zip File Name page appears. The default name for the file is the name of the open Project.
6. For Zip file name, enter the name to give to the file. By default, the location for this file is the My Windchill Risk and Reliability Files folder for the current installation. You use the browse button to navigate to another directory. For more information, see Selecting or Creating a File Using a Selection Window.
7. Click Next. The Wizard Complete page appears.
8. Click Finish to package the selected files.
As the selected Team files are copied to a temporary Project folder, a window opens, displaying progress. Once the Team files are copied, the Packaging Data window opens. During this time, the ZIP file is created.
After the ZIP file is created, a window opens, indicating that the packaging process is complete.
9. Click OK to close the window.
You can now attach this *.zip file to an email message.
