Link Data Window
The Link Data window provides for inserting a data link. If the selected item is not linked to another item, (Not linked) appears for Data source. To insert a data link, select the module containing the item to which to link and then select the item itself.
The following table describes the options in the Link Data window. For more information, see Inserting a Data Link.

Data source
The module having the item to which to link. (Not Linked) is selected when the item is not linked to any other item. The other choices available depend on the item and the modules in the Project. If no choices are available, data linking is unavailable for this item. Once you select a module, other options in this window become available.

If the item is already linked to another item, you can select (Not Linked) to remove the data link.
[Data link]
The item to which to link. The label for this option changes from Data link to the type of item you select for the module chosen for Data source. Additional options also appear if other selections are necessary. For more information, see Options for Various Modules.
