When an item is linked to another item in the System file, calculation properties for the linked item are brought over and used for this item. In a diagram module, the data link icon appears above and to the right of a object that is linked to another item in the System file. For more information, see Diagram Modules. If you delete the source record for a linked item, the data link is deleted.
