Inserting Dashboard Controls
To customize a dashboard, you can insert controls for graphs, reports, rich text, and tables, just as you do for custom Start pages.
1. If you do not see the customization area, which displays the buttons for inserting controls, click Customize in the upper right corner to display this area.

Inserting a large number of controls on a dashboard can adversely affect performance.

While all controls are expanded by default, clicking the arrow button in the right corner of a control’s title bar switches between collapsing and expanding it.
Once a control is inserted, you can modify, refresh, and delete it. You can also set up the layout of the controls on the dashboard in the same way as on custom Start pages. If necessary, you can modify a dashboard, which consists of deleting, renaming, or arranging it. For more information, see:
