Auto-Hide Window Descriptions
The following table provides an alphabetized listing and descriptions of all windows that can be configured as auto-hide windows. It also notes the default configuration for these window: Auto-Hide, Docking, or Floating. You right-click in any one of these window to use the shortcut menu to change its configuration. Calculation Progress
Docking
Enables you to view information about the calculations being performed. If the Calculation Progress window is not open prior to the start of a calculation, it open when you click OK in the Calculate window. For more information, see Calculation Progress Window.
Data Fields Toolbar
Auto-Hide
Enables you to insert the fields in a selected table into various files using the standard Windows drag-and-drop technique. You can use the Data Fields Toolbar with Alert, Calculation, FMEA Design, Form Design, Report Design, and Workflow files. For more information, see Data Fields Toolbar.
File Properties
Auto-Hide
Enables you to specify the properties for an open System or support file. In the Enterprise Edition, only a system administrator or designated Project administrator can set file properties. For more information, see Viewing and Modifying Properties in the File Properties Window.
File Property Fields
Auto-Hide
Enables you to insert file property fields in Report Design files. For more information, see Inserting a Report Object.
Find and Replace
Floating
Enables you to find a specified text string and replace it with another specified text string. While the Find and Replace window is initially a floating window, you can place it in auto-hide mode. For more information, see Find and Replace.
FMEA Warnings
Docking
Enables you to view configuration and setup warnings for the active FMEA in the FMEA Table. For more information, see FMEA Warnings Window.
Formulas
Auto-Hide
Enables you to create, edit, delete, and insert formulas in Report Design files. For more information, see Report Calculation How-Tos.
Library Browse
Docking
Enables you to search for components, diagrams, or blocks in library files for insertion into your System file. For more information, see Library Browse Window.
Options
Docking
Enables you to configure product and system options. The options available are dependent upon which Edition you are running. For more information, see User Options.
Project Navigator
Auto-Hide
Enables you to open a Project and any files in that Project to which you have the necessary permissions. For more information, see Project Navigator.
RBD Warnings
Docking
Enables you to view configuration and setup warnings for diagrams created in the RBD module. For more information, see RBD Warnings Window.
Running Totals
Auto-Hide
Enables you to create, edit, delete, and insert running totals in Report Design files. For more information, see Report Calculation How-Tos.
Special Fields
Auto-Hide
Enables you to insert special fields in Report Design files. Special fields are generally inserted in report headers or footers using the Special Fields window. For more information, see Report Object How-Tos.
Task List
Docking
Enables you to perform common tasks and/or view data associated with a particular module. You can use the Task List with the following modules: FTA, RBD, and Reliability. For more information, see Task List.
User-Defined Categories
Auto-Hide
Enables you to insert user-defined part categories and subcategories in the Common Library when a System file is open. For more information, see Inserting User-Defined Parts in the Parts Table.
