Data Fields Toolbar
The Data Fields Toolbar is an auto-hide window that provides for quickly inserting data fields into various files. For general information about auto-hide windows, see Auto-Hide Windows. For information specific to using the Data Fields toolbar, see Data Fields Toolbar How-Tos.
You can use the Data Fields Toolbar to insert fields in the following supported file types:
Alert
Calculation
FMEA Design
Form Design
Report Design
Workflow
The method you use to show the Data Fields Toolbar depends on the file type. At the top of the Data Fields Toolbar, you select the table containing the field to insert. Clicking Edit Field starts the Edit a Field Wizard, which you use to make changes to configuration settings for the selected field and save them to the Project’s Data Definition file. When the FMEA Worksheet table type is selected, a button for adding fields is also present. Clicking Add Field starts the Add a Field Wizard, which you use to insert a new FMEA field in the Project’s FMEA Design file and save configuration settings for it to the Data Definition file.
