Adding a Module or Calculation Model to the System File
When a System file is selected in the Project Properties window, the File Properties pane displays the properties for this file. Under Modules Included, you can see the modules included in this file. For more information, see System File Properties.
When a System file is created, it includes all modules that you have licensed. If you either failed to license a module prior to the file’s creation, or if you obtained a new PTC license that included this module after the file’s creation, you can add the module to a System file.
1. If the module to add is not licensed, close all files and license it. For more information, see Changing the Modules Licensed for a Session.
2. Open the Project in the Project Properties window. For more information, see Opening a Project in the Project Properties Window.
3. In the Project Properties pane, select the System file.
4. In the File Properties pane, under Modules Included, select the module to add.
The modules already included in the System file are selected. If a module is not included in the System file, you can select it.
A confirmation window opens.
5. Click Yes.
If the System file is open, a window opens, indicating that you must close and reopen this file to make the newly added module available. In this case, click OK and then close and reopen the System file.

You can also add a licensed module to an open System file when its properties are being viewed in the auto-hide File Properties window. For more information, see Viewing and Modifying Properties in the File Properties Window.
