Delivery Information Page
The information page of a delivery is accessed by clicking the view information icon for a delivery. Basic information about the delivery is available at the top of the page, including the identification information for the delivery. The zipped status glyph appears when the ZIP file has been created for a delivery.
From the delivery information page, you can perform actions on the delivery and view attributes and additional information. For an overview of information page functionality, see About Information Pages and Customizing Information Page Tabs.
Information pages contain a list of applicable actions in a menu in the upper left corner of the page. See Common Actions for a list of common actions available in Windchill. The availability of these actions depends on the status of the delivery as well as your access to it. For more information about status indicators, see Object Status.
The following actions might be of particular interest when working with a delivery.
Copies the delivery to the clipboard.
This action is only available on the Delivery table in the Projects or Programs context. When the clipboard contains a delivery and it is pasted to the Delivery table, a share is created. For more information, see Adding Objects to a Project.
Edit the delivery. The Edit Delivery window contains the same fields used when creating a delivery. The fields are pre-populated with the information you specified when creating the delivery, but they can be changed.
The Edit action only appears before the delivery has been sent. This action is not available for downgraded delivery.
Acknowledge receipt of a package that has been delivered to the recipient. The delivery can be received and accepted or rejected.
The Receive Delivery action only appears after a delivery has been sent.
Send a package delivery that has already been created.
Before sending the delivery, the ZIP file or files should be generated, any required manual steps should be completed, and delivery medium should be prepared.
Create the ZIP file or files of the package contents for the delivery. The number of files created varies depending on the size of the package as well as the delivery medium selected.
The package must be locked with no existing ZIP file for this action to appear. For more information, see Locking a Package.
Cancel Zip Package for Delivery
Cancel the creation of a ZIP file that is in progress. You can select this action at any time during the ZIP file creation process.
The following tabs are viewable on the delivery information page. You can customize the tabs that appear on each object information page to display the information most useful to you. For more information, see Customizing Information Page Tabs.
