Copying to and from Windchill Clipboard
To move parts and documents to and from
Windchill functionality outside of the explorer, use the
Windchill Clipboard. Moving parts and documents within the explorer is described in
Cutting, Copying, and Pasting.

In edit mode, to make changes to a part, you must first check out the part.

Use the following procedure to Copy to Windchill Clipboard:
1. In the structure (in the left pane), select the objects you want to copy.
2. Select >
or
Click the copy to
icon.
3. Navigate to the location outside of the explorer, and select Paste.
Use the following procedure to Copy from Windchill Clipboard:
1. Navigate to the location outside of the explorer, and copy the parts or documents you want to add to the explorer window.
2. In the explorer, select > .

Click the copy from
icon.
