Part Structure Browser
A part structure is a dynamic, expandable representation of a bill of material (BOM) that captures the content of a product as it evolves over time. The part structure browser, located in the Structure tab on a part information page, is used for viewing, creating, and editing part structures and related information.
For an overview of the use of part structures for configuration management of products, see Capturing Product Configuration Information.

The part structure includes much of the functionality previously available in Product Structure Explorer (PSE) only. As a result, the launch points for the Product Structure Explorer (PSE) applet are hidden by default. The launch points can be enabled through a preference. Navigate to the Utilities page for organization and click Preference Management. Select PSE > Enable Product Structure Explorer (PSE) and change the setting to Yes.
