The system administrator initiates the indexing process, which may require some time to complete. Once indexing is successful, the system administrator can proceed to search for duplicate parts. |

Select Part Shape Similarity | Prompts the administrator to adjust the slider to set the percentage for the degree of shape similarity when searching for duplicate parts. A higher percentage identifies parts that are more similar. | ||

Slider | Displays a slider to adjust the percentage for the degree of shape similarity when searching for duplicate parts. You can adjust the slider for the shape similarity range to 98–100%, 99–100%, or 100%. ![]() | ||
Index Database | Provides ability to initiate, pause, and resume indexing process. ![]() | ||
Initiate Indexing | Queues up the parts for indexing. | ||
Pause Indexing | Pauses the indexing of parts. When you click Pause Indexing, the indexing process is paused and the tab status changes to Resume Indexing. | ||
Resume Indexing | Resumes the indexing of parts. | ||
