Validate Installation and Configuration

The following checks can be performed in the following order to validate your Experience Service installation and deployment.

1. Experience Service Basic Check

2. ThingWorx Server Basic Check

3. (Only if using SSO authentication) Single Sign-on Checks

4. Experience Service Authentication Check

5. Experience ServiceThingWorx Proxy Check

If your Experience Service is configured to use single sign-on (SSO), here are a few things to keep in mind when running the checks:

• The Experience Service Basic Check will succeed regardless of the ThingWorx server’s Resource Provider configuration.

• The ThingWorx Server Basic Check will succeed as long as the ThingWorx server is properly configured for SSO regardless of whether it is properly configured as a Resource Provider

• The SSO checks should be completed after the Experience Service Basic Check and the ThingWorx Server Basic Check have completed successfully.

• The Experience Service Authentication Check will fail if ThingWorx is not properly configured as a Resource Provider.

• The Experience ServiceThingWorx Proxy Check will fail if ThingWorx is not properly configured as a Resource Provider.
