ThingWorx Server Basic Check
Validate that ThingWorx is running.

For this check, the experience service proxy should not be used. Instead, the direct URL to the ThingWorx server should be used.

1. Enter the following URL in a web browser: <twx-protocol>://<twxhostname>:<twx-port>/Thingworx/Organizations
For example: http://twx.example.com:8080/Thingworx/Organizations
2. If your ThingWorx instance is running, you will be prompted to log in if you are not already.
3. Once logged in, a list of entities is displayed.
Troubleshooting
• Make sure that the ThingWorx server is running.
• Make sure that the correct protocol, host name, and port is specified.
• Make sure valid credentials are used to log in.
• Make sure that the device or computer on which the web browser is running is on a network that can access the ThingWorx server. For example, you may need to connect to your company’s VPN.
