Update Card
Use the Update Card action to update the specified card.
Complete the following steps to use the Update Card action in your workflow:
1. Drag the
Update Card action under
Trello to the canvas, place the pointer on the action, and then click
or double-click the action. The Update Card window opens.
2. Edit the Label, if needed. By default, the label name is the same as the action name.
If you previously added a connector type, select the appropriate Connector Type, and under Connector Name, select the connector.
4. Click TEST to validate the connector.
5. Click
MAP CONNECTOR to execute the action using a connector that is different from the one that you are using to populate the input fields. In the
Runtime Connector field, provide a valid Trello connector name. For more information about

6. In the Board ID field, select or specify the ID of the board under which the card that you want to update is available.
7. In the List ID field, select or specify the ID of the list under which the card you want to update is available.
8. In the Card ID or Short Link field, select or specify the ID or short link of the card that you want to update. For example: If your card URL is https://trello.com/c/hViugOYd/sample-card, then provide hViugOYd as the short link.
9. Under Member IDs, click Add, and in the Member ID field, select or specify the ID of the member that you want to add to the card.
Click
Add to add multiple member IDs. Click
to delete any member ID that you added.
10. Click Show additional fields.
11. In the
Due Date field, click
to set a due date for the task.
12. Provide a Name and Description for the card.
13. In the Task Completed list, select true if the task has been completed by the due date; otherwise select false.
14. In the Labels field, provide a comma-separated list of the labels that you want to assign to the card. The available options are all, green, yellow, orange, red, purple, blue, turquoise, light green, pink, and black.
15. In the Subscribed list, select true if you want to receive notifications if the card is modified; otherwise select false.
16. Under the Additional Fields group, click Add, and do the following:
a. In the
Field Name field, provide the name of the field that you want to add. The field name should be the same as the name specified in the
API documentation.
b. In the Value field, provide the value of the field.
Click
Add to add multiple fields and values. Click
to delete any field values that you added.
17. Click Done.
