Supported Salesforce Connector Types
Add a Salesforce connector to authorize ThingWorx Flow to execute Salesforce actions. ThingWorx Flow supports the following connector types for Salesforce:
OAuth
OAuth (Named User)
OAuth (Session User)
*
Before you create a Salesforce OAuth connector, ensure that you load Salesforce OAuths to the ThingWorx Flow server.
Adding an OAuth connector
1. Drag any action under Salesforce to the canvas, place the pointer on the action, and then click or double-click the action.
2. For Connector Type, select OAuth (Named User) or OAuth (Session User).
3. In the Salesforce list, select Add new Salesforce login – Named User or Add new Salesforce login – Session User.
*
If you have not loaded Salesforce OAuths to the ThingWorx Flow server, this option is not available.
4. In the Parameters window, enter the User Domain, and click ALLOW.
5. Provide your user name and password to log in to your Salesforce account.
6. Edit the Connector Label, if you want. Labels are case-sensitive. Do not use spaces, special characters, and leading numbers.
7. Click ADD to add the Salesforce OAuth connector.
Each connected app allows five unique approvals per user. When a sixth approval is made, the oldest approval is revoked. For more information, see Manage OAuth Access for Your Connected Apps.

In ThingWorx Flow, we always use the latest APIs that are available with your SalesForce account.
