Send an Email
Use the Send an Email action to send an email from your Office 365 Outlook account. For more information, refer to Microsoft API documentation.
Complete the following steps to use the Send an Email action in your workflow:
1. Drag the Send an Email action under the Office 365 connector to the canvas, place the pointer on the action, and then click or double-click the action. The Send an Email window opens.
2. Edit the Label, if needed. By default, the label name is the same as the action name.
3. To add an Office 365 connector type, refer to Supported Office 365 Connector Types.
If you previously added a connector type, select the appropriate Connector Type, and under Connector Name, select the connector.
4. Click TEST to validate the connector.
5. Click MAP CONNECTOR to execute the action using a connector that is different from the one that you are using to populate the input fields. In the Runtime Connector field, provide a valid Office 365 connector name. For more information about MAP CONNECTOR, see Using Map Connector.
6. Under the To group, click Add, and in the To field, provide the email ID of the recipeint.
Click Add to add multiple recipients. Click to delete any recipient that you added.
7. In the Subject field, provide the subject of the email.
8. In the Body Format list, select the format of the email.
9. In the Body field, provide content in the selected format.
10. Click Show additional fields.
11. Under the Cc group, click Add, and in the Cc field, provide the email ID of the recipeint to whom you want to copy the email.
Click Add to add multiple recipients. Click to delete any recipient that you added.
12. Under the Bcc group, click Add, and in the Bcc field, provide the email ID of the recipeint to whom you want to blind copy the email.
Click Add to add multiple recipients. Click to delete any recipient that you added.
13. Under the Reply To group, click Add, and in the Reply To field, provide the email ID where you want to receive emails from the recipients.
Click Add to add multiple email IDs. Click to delete any email ID that you added.
14. Under the Attachments group, click Add, and in the Source File path field, map the output of a previous action to provide the file that you want to attach to the draft email.
Click Add to add multiple attachments. Click to delete any attachment that you added.
15. Under the Additional Parameters group, click Add to add additional user details in the form of Name and Value pairs.
Click Add to add multiple additional parameters. Click to delete any parameter that you added.
16. Click Done.
