Supported Github Connector Types
Add a Github connector to authorize ThingWorx Flow to execute Github actions. ThingWorx Flow supports the following connector types for Github:
OAuth
OAuth (Named User)
OAuth (Session User)
*
Before you create a Github OAuth connector, ensure that you load Github OAuths to the ThingWorx Flow server.
Adding an OAuth connector
1. Drag any action under Github to the canvas, place the pointer on the action, and then click or double-click the action.
2. For Connector Type, select OAuth (Named User) or OAuth (Session User).
3. In the Github OAuth list, select Add new Github login – Named User or Add new Github login – Session User.
*
If you have not loaded Github OAuths to the ThingWorx Flow server, this option is not available.
4. Provide your user name and password to log in to Github.
5. Review access permissions, and click Allow.
6. Edit the Connector Label, if you want. Labels are case-sensitive. Do not use spaces, special characters, and leading numbers.
7. Click ADD to add the Github OAuth connector.
