Supported Excel Online Connector Types
Add an Excel Online connector to authorize ThingWorx Flow to execute Excel Online actions. ThingWorx Flow supports the following connector types for Excel Online:
OAuth (Named User)
OAuth (Session User)
Before you create an Excel Online OAuth connector, ensure that you load Excel Online OAuths to the ThingWorx Flow server.
Adding an OAuth connector
1. Drag any action under Excel Online to the canvas, place the pointer on the action, and then click or double-click the action.
2. For Connector Type, select OAuth (Named User) or OAuth (Session User).
3. In the Excel Online OAuth list, select Add new Excel login – Named User or Add new Excel Online login – Session User.
If you have not loaded Excel Online OAuths to the ThingWorx Flow server, this option is not available.
4. Provide your user name and password to log in to Excel Online.
5. Review access permissions, and click Allow.
6. Edit the Connector Label, if you want. Labels are case-sensitive. Do not use spaces, special characters, and leading numbers.
7. Click ADD to add the Excel Online OAuth connector.
