Supported Bitly Connector Types
Add a Bitly connector to authorize ThingWorx Flow to execute Bitly actions. ThingWorx Flow supports the following connector types for Bitly:
OAuth
OAuth (Named User)
OAuth (Session User)
*
Before you create a Bitly OAuth connector, ensure that you load Bitly OAuths to the ThingWorx Flow server.
Adding an OAuth connector
1. Drag any action under Bitly to the canvas, place the pointer on the action, and then click or double-click the action.
2. For Connector Type, select OAuth (Named User) or OAuth (Session User).
3. In the Bitly OAuth list, select Add new Bitly login – Named User or Add new Bitly login – Session User.
*
If you have not loaded Bitly OAuths to the ThingWorx Flow server, this option is not available.
4. Provide your user name and password to log in to Bitly.
5. Review access permissions, and click Allow.
6. Edit the Connector Label, if you want. Labels are case-sensitive. Do not use spaces, special characters, and leading numbers.
7. Click ADD to add the Bitly OAuth connector.
