In ThingWorx, subsystems are system integration tools that provide functionality that can be configured according to execution requirements. Subsystems handle event processing, file transfer, federated data storage, Web socket communications, stream processing, tunneling processing, and configuration. With the proper permissions enabled, users can start, stop, and configure subsystems. The status of all subsystems is available in Composer in the Monitoring menu.
