Service Board is a modern, single-page application rearchitected for performance and scalability to eliminate the limitations of Dispatch Console. The streamlined object model requires only minimal fields to be loaded from each object. Pagination functionality has been implemented to load only one page of records at a time. A dedicated search engine, Elasticsearch, supports fast server-side search and typeahead search to further boost performance.

The app is implemented in HTML5 with a pluggable UI component-based architecture. Pluggable map architecture supports third-party map providers, including OpenStreetMap and Google. The UI is completely redesigned, and supports infinite scrolling and multi-Resource job dispatch. New and enhanced functionality includes Crew and shift management and recurring Event support. An intelligent extensible Resource recommendation engine eases Resource matching, and mobile integration supports real-time dispatch. Lifecycle management for Jobs and Appointments is included to support business logic and process compliance.
