Deactivating Access Control for Shift Exceptions
You can remove create, update, and delete permissions for shift exceptions for users with specific roles.

After you deactivate access control for shift exceptions, the related Action Menu items are not visible to users who have the specific role from which you removed permissions, and the resize icon is hidden on the Calendar. Even users who own or share records cannot modify these options after access control for shift exceptions is deactivated.

To deactivate access control for shift exceptions:
1. In
Max Admin, on the
User Management (
) launchpad menu, click
Permissions, and then in the list view, click the
Permission you want to deactivate, for example,
Permission to Create Shift Exception granted to Dispatcher.
2. On the record page, on the
System Info tab, clear the
Active check box, and then in the top left corner, click
Save and Close (
).
3. Repeat the previous step for each
Permission you want to deactivate for the relevant role, and then on the
Development Actions (
) launchpad menu, click
Synchronize.
