Configuring the Maximum Number of Automatically Created Appointments
During automated scheduling of high-scope Long-Term Jobs and Work Plans that require many Appointments to complete, system performance can be negatively affected. To address this scenario, you can configure the maximum number of Appointments that can be proposed for Jobs with Service Tasks, Service Products, or Work Plans. The Maximum Number of Automatically Created Appointments operation parameter also affects the dispatch process for Long-Term Jobs.
To configure the maximum number of automatically created Appointments:
1. In Max Designer, click Developer Tools (
) > > , and then in the list view, click Maximum Number of Automatically Created Appointments.

If set to a null value, this limit is disabled, and an unlimited number of Appointments can be proposed for Jobs with Service Tasks, Service Products, or Work Plans and for Long-Term Jobs.
