About SFDC Queue Support in Max
On the Salesforce platform, queues are lists of users, roles, and groups. Salesforce records can be owned by a user or a queue. Users who are queue members can view records owned by the relevant queue.
On the Max platform, Jobs appear in the Job List and can be automatically assigned to a queue of dispatchers based on job attributes and settings. Dispatchers who are queue members handle the task of dispatching queue-owned Jobs to Resources.
You can define and manage queues on SFDC, and synchronize queue data with Max for dispatch management. You can view Job queues in Service Board if you have queue membership for any of the following reasons:
You are a user or a partner user.
You have user or portal roles that grant access.
You belong to public groups to which you and other users are directly added.
Users who have queue membership through other means do not have access. Unsupported queue membership includes:
Roles and internal subordinates.
Internal roles and portal subordinates.
Portal roles and subordinates.
Public groups to which roles, portal roles, or other public groups are added.
