In Real-Time Optimization, you can enable the ranked appointment booking feature by performing the following steps:

1. Configure the appointment windows and types.

2. Create the Get Appointments SFM and add it to the Work Order object.

After you enable the feature, the dispatcher or planner users can use the SFM to invoke the appointment booking page and book appointments for work orders.

You can also enable the appointment booking feature on external websites. This feature helps organizations embed the appointment booking option within their websites. For more information, see Enabling Ranked Appointment Booking on External Websites.
