Viewing the Job Runs for Dispatch Processes
You can monitor and track background optimization jobs associated with each Dispatch Process. These job records provide visibility into when a process executed, its runtime, and details such as assigned technicians or optimization outcomes. This helps teams review optimization history, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that schedule-related automation is functioning as expected.
Each time a dispatch process runs, a job record is generated. These job records are displayed in the Show Jobs modal, available from the Dispatch Process list.
To view the job runs for a dispatch process:
1. Navigate to ServiceMax Setup > Scheduling & Optimization > Dispatch Processes.
2. Locate the Dispatch Process for which you want to review job records.
3. Click the Action Menu in the row of the dispatch process you want to view the job runs.
4. Select Show Jobs.The job run details for the dispatch process are displayed in a modal window.
*
The Show Jobs window displays only the latest 50 job runs for a dispatch process. To access older job records, create a custom list view in the ServiceMax Jobs object.
Due to a Salesforce UI limitation, the Show Jobs view can display a maximum of 1,000 records. When this limit is exceeded, new job records are not displayed. To view new jobs, delete older records until the total count drops below 1,000.
5. Click Job Number to view the job run details.
