Useful Tips
The following are some of the useful tips for working with RTO:
1. If a work order does not qualify for any dispatch process but has the territory of an RTO dispatch process, you can manually assign the work order. After the manual assignment, the work order will be scheduled after it is injected for scheduling.
2. To enable an unassigned work order to be chosen for scheduling by the RTO job, clear the Violation Status and the Violation Message field values of that work order and save it.
3. If you want to schedule the cancelled work orders:
Resave the cancelled work order. OR
Book an appointment for the cancelled work order.
4. Clear the latitude and longitude fields in the event/work order when you update the location details of the event/work order. This enables the recalculation of latitude-longitude values.
5. The minimum address details required for a work order are:
Zip + Country OR
Latitude + Longitude
6. ServiceMax recommends that you do not implement any customization in scheduling-related fields of the work order. For more information, see Fields Not to be Updated by Custom Code.
